As the summer comes to a close, we invite you for one more outdoor gathering at the home of Nancy Lanyon (621 S Anchor Street in Rockaway Beach) this Wednesday, September 20 at 5:30PM. There will be pizza from the Barview Jetty Store and our gracious host will provide beverages. Feel free to bring a chair and or a nibble to share. Chris Farrar, geologist/hydrologist from Astoria, will give a brief, relatively informal presentation focusing on forest hydrology and how the clear cutting of watersheds have an impact on water availability and quality. Chris has recently guided two hikes into the Jetty Creek Watershed.
