Rockaway Beach City Council Meeting this Wednesday, January 10 at 6:00 p.m.

On the agenda will be several matters relating to the Source Water Protection (SWP) Plan for the City of Rockaway Beach. One is consideration of a resolution to establish a SWP Plan Development Advisory Committee. If approved, the resolution will establish the Advisory Committee for the purposes of receiving project information, reviewing reports, and providing community input to the SWP facilitator during the development of the City’s SWP Plan. The advisory committee will consist of five members who are served by the Rockaway Beach Water District. At least four members shall be residents of the City. Appointments will be made according to the City Charter and by resolution of the City Council. The City will solicit application packets from parties interested in serving on the committee. These packets shall include an application, letter of interest and resume.
