Effects of Forestry on Streamflow: Presentation by Julia Jones

Stream in Forest

Julia Jones, Geography Professor at Oregon State University

On December 2, 2020, Julia Jones conducted a presentation on her research regarding the long-term effects of forestry practices on stream flows. Her data dates back to the 1950s.

Her findings, especially in regards to summer stream flows and deficits have important implications for understanding how forestry has changed coastal streams over the past 50 years, and what may happen in the future.
